Short introduction

This year will see the 54th edition of MIDO 2026, the leading international eyewear trade fair.

A total of 1,200 exhibitors from 50 different countries are expected, and as every year, the search for true novelty is becoming increasingly challenging. Today, in fact, the most prestigious brands tend to set up closed booths that can only be accessed by appointment, and innovation in general is increasingly difficult to identify amid the vast number of copied and standardized products.

We conducted an analysis of the exhibitors listed on the official MIDO website and selected 20 brands that, based on what they have achieved in the past, could once again surprise us by presenting a product that stands out from the crowd.

Before moving on to the brands already on the market, we want to present an extra brand, a novelty of 2026, that will launch its first collection at the 54th edition of MIDO.

Its name is Agbassio and we want to support as we can, giving them the first place in our list.
