MANIFESTO

This space was created out of the need to tell the story of eyewear.

It is not a groundbreaking idea.

Dedicated magazines and industry pages have been covering this topic for years.

So why did we decide to create AIwearMag?

Let’s start with the name.

AIwear is a phonetic play on the word eyewear.

On a deeper level, however, it refers to AI—and in our analysis, there are two distinct types.

The first is software AI, which today is often overused and leads to the production of standardized, uninspired products with little real innovation.

The second is AI embedded in the creative process, where the “prompt” is to analyze what the largest, most established brands are selling and then reproduce it with minor changes.

Mag is short for Magazine, reinforcing our intention to reduce the distance between us and the reader, to modernize the way the industry often communicates, and to bring a breath of fresh air into what has become a stagnant world—using the conversational, direct language typical of blogs.

One of our core objectives is independence.

We do not want to create an advertising space that anyone can buy into. We want the freedom to express our opinions and to build a community of enthusiasts who can recognize and appreciate quality products.

To remain sustainable, however, we are transparent about the fact that you will find advertising banners on our pages. These will not be selected by us, but automatically placed by Google based on your searches. This allows us to remain independent, avoid charging the community, and refuse compromises with projects we do not want to support.

What will you find on AIwearMag?

As mentioned, we want to talk about eyewear.

We have developed several formats that may evolve or expand over time.

Specifically, we aim to:

  • Tell stories (of brands, designers, and people who have innovated within this industry)

  • Debunk myths (because we enjoy provocation and going against the flow)

  • Talk about creativity (to inspire and stimulate ideas in the reader)

  • Write practical guides (we will analyze professional paths and adapt them to help those who want to enter this world)

  • Offer reflections (on what we believe is missing today and what we consider essential to help readers form their own opinions or consider different perspective)

  • Analyze emerging projects (where we see a seed of innovation, we want to be the fertile ground where it can gain visibility)

What will you NOT find on AIwearMag?

We’ll keep it short.

No fluff, no clickbait, no filters, no gurus, no spam, no fake sponsorships.

This is—and will remain—the DNA of AIwearMag. We hope we’ve sparked your curiosity and invite you to explore the “Articles” section to see if something resonates with you.

In any case, we encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter to receive all future articles.
